10 Powerful New Vocabulary Words

Over the past couple of months I’ve been on a quest to better articulate my thoughts. In some ways this stems from my desire to be regarded as intelligent and well-read, but there is also something else. I understand that, in many ways, to limit your vocabulary is to limit your potential.
It applies to business, of course. The right words in a marketing campaign can double or quadruple the number of sales. The right words can have your project idea approved or win you the admiration of your superiors. But this isn’t the only area of your life influenced by a strong, capable arsenal of words. Expressing your emotions in the right way can start or save a relationship. In a room full of people, how you speak can earn you influence and control, furthering your political campaign or persuading those around you to work towards a singular goal. There are few leaders who are not also eloquent speakers.
